Helm driving and loneliness

I'm back. I went out to sea for the first time. It was pretty cool. The ocean was beautiful. It was a little cold but worth it. I got to steer the helm and I got to have a cup of coffee w/ the captain while he was plotting our course.

I'm so lonely out here. I wanna come home but I can't. I realized that this is the first X-mas I'll be away from home w/ no one to celebrate w/.
